I have returned, halleluja
Well, I don't know what you should call it, but in some senses I am "back". I will from now on start doing updates when I feel like it, adding stuff, and probably slapping up
that needed re-design that I've been holding off. It offers frames for easier navigation (that ain't very often :) and some more lame graphics to have you sitting there all day
waiting for the damn thing to load.
As for new content, don't hold your breath. I will update the new stuff so that it holds correct information, but I'm quite pleased with what I've accomplished so far. But, you never know, I might turn a new leaf
and start doing crazy things with this page.
Please, do contact me, I always appreciate feedback. Later.
(no this is not some stupid April fools thing)

Bad religioners,
The
reason why this page is so seldomly updated is because there is nothing
to update. What I really need is that you who reads this send me all bad
religion info, pictures, tabs, and so on that you have. There's a large
request for "Into the unknown" tabs. Also give my clues on how to improve
and reform this page, I need your opinion. I have the will but not the
resources |

The tab archive
is finally up
Now i have uploaded
all the tabs and everything, Enjoy!
But I'm still
missing tabs from Into the unknown and I don't have it myself, so if you
have it and knows how to play the guitar, I'd be very thankful if you send
me some tabs. |

New Maintainer,
that's me!
As you probably
know Petter has decided to step down as the maintainer of this page. And
as an effect of that he had to find a new maintainer, and that is me! I'm
very glad to receive such confidence from him. Just as Petter I'm from
Sweden so please despite my language difficulties. The first major update
I will do as the new maintainer is to create a complete tab archive, I
have experienced some difficulties but soon it will be up and running!
I'm also concidering to put up an art gallery, but that will be a later
project. You probably wont hear much from me in a while because I will
be working on the tab archive all my spare time. Hasta mañana til´
we meet again! |

A New Maintainer...
I have decided
to step down as a maintainer of this page, and leave the responsiblity
to someone else, I won´t reveal who it is, but I have great trust
in him that he will do a good job of evolving and steadily updating this
page - something I have been lacking lately.
Don´t
grieve, I will still be here... as a sort of Big Brother, watching his
every move... and maybe I´ll do some updates now and then. |
/Petter Sundlöf [odd@hempseed.com]
Slow on
the updating front
Gaah... Please
forgive me for my extreme lazyness in doing updates to this page... but
there hasnït been much going around?
Iïm also
looking for someone to eventually take over this page... yeeeah, it ainït
as fun as it used to be anymore. Drop me a mail and tell me lots of shit
about yourself and blah blah blah ;) |
/Petter Sundlöf [odd@hempseed.com]
MP3 server
gone ;(
The location where
the MP3 files was is gone! Damn... the owner of ao.net had to remove all
the MP3's because of the lewser ISP !
I'll look around
for space somewhere else... but don't count on it in the near future (may
be months...) |

The NS concept
If you haven´t
read the whole "Bad Times; Online" you should at least read the concept,
which you can find here but is also
linked on the No Substance album section. |

badreligion.com

Finally, "badreligion.com"
is up, Bad Religion's Official Web
Site.
I´m
scrolling trough it right now, and it looks really cool... except, I can´t
get into the merchandise section, which probably only is a temporary error,
because it worked earlier today at school.
The
Bad Times Online, the official newsletter is also availible. |

Some news
from Atlantic Records...
I snapped this
up from Atlantic Records Bad Religion news page;
Bad
Religion is currently pouring over papers and pondering postulations as
they prepare to award the first-ever scholarship in the band's name. The
special scholarship program was announced by the quintet late last year
as a way to endorse and support budding geniuses in the cultural and physical
science fields.
Lead vocalist
Greg Graffin, who holds a degree in evolutionary biology from UCLA and
is working towards his PhD. at Cornell University, has taken charge of
reviewing proposals for field studies as submitted by high school and college
students. The group will announce the winner of the band-financed $3,000
grant during this summer's Vans Warped tour - which the band is headlining.
The much-anticipated outdoor festival's itinerary kicks off June 30th in
Phoenix, Arizona and runs through August before moving on to Europe.
Bad Religion's
summer festival itinerary follows the May 5th release of their new album,
NO SUBSTANCE. Road tested last fall during a series of super-discount all-ages
New York City club shows, NO SUBSTANCE was produced and engineered by Bad
Religion, Alex Perialas, and Ronnie Kimball and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge
(Sugar Hill Gang, The Replacements, No Doubt). The album's Graffin-penned
debut single, "Shades Of Truth," has debuted as the #5 most-added single
at modern rock outlets nationwide. This past weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada,
the group embarked on a special pre-Warped American club tour. The current
trek finds the band booked into more intimate than normal venues, with
ticket prices set at-or-below $10.
In other
Bad Religion news, the group will be on hand at Tower Records on Sunset
Boulevard in Los Angeles following their May 4th performance at the Roxy
for a "midnight madness" in-store celebration marking the release of NO
SUBSTANCE. Greg Graffin, Brian Baker, Greg Hetson, Jay Bentley, and Bobby
Schayer will greet fans and sign autographs until the manager takes their
Sharpies away and closes the place. |

SonicNet

On Tuesday the

There was
a temporary error at the sound page, the links pointing the wrong way...

Against
The Grain Special
In my everyday boredom I created a background-picture from the Corn-cob
with Arrow image on the back of the inlay from Against The Grain. On the
thumbnail it might not look so good (follow the link), but I think it's
pretty cool to have on your desktop. I have made four version availible
to the end-user (woah, nifty industry words there, huh ?);
1:
A zipped .PSD
version , with Layers so you can edit your backgroundcolor, shaded
or not and or outlined.
2: A
JPEG version with Black background color.
3: Another
JPEG with White background color.
4: Yet
Another JPEG this time with Gray background color.
If you have
Photoshop it is preffered that you download the .PSD
version, which is more customizable and has a much higher quality. |

The layer3
Status / Into The Unknown!!!
Well, it's coming
along just fine... i'm uploading the files left (about 100 meg, should
be able to make it) tomorrow and have the html page prepared for Wednesday.
Also, I got
Into The Unknown today. It‹s an OK album, altough some lalala's and such
could be removed... I will make some layer3 files out of it and add it
to the sound section soo |

any misspellings or faults in the lyrics section. I also want more input
from YOU! Uhm, the MP3's is on it's way... I‹m transferring the No Substance
ones as I write this...
I will have to
go somewhere else for the rest of them (there's 150~ MB of data), so it
will be sometime this week. |
/Petter Sundlöf [odd@hempseed.com]
I'm back!
Finally I‹m back
from my relatives and ready to hit you with some more awesome updates...
I'll upload some more Real Audio files

It's Here!
Yes! The new album
is here and let me say it's different, in many different aspects. The design
is somewhat strange, but kind of funny all the same. The design contains
1-800 numbers with messages like "Your future is waiting" etc. You can
go to the album section for some more images. Ok, Now onto the vital piece
- the music: It's different, when it's slow it's slow, and when it's fast
it's really fast, like in Hear It, which Greg's voice almost is lost in
the speed. There aren't many downsides of this album, except track #6,
Raise Your Voice... I think it's a real pity they chose this as the European
single, ... the song is according to me the worst every released by BR,
but the quality of this song does not correspond with the rest in any way.
After one or two sweeps over it I totally love it. Maybe not their best
album, but sureley at the top.
I will soon
put up a longer review of the album, plus reviews of the older albums. |

Delayed, but
maybe...
No, it did not arrive here on the 6th, but maybe it will come today

soon as possible... mail me for info etc.. |

Ok, now I‹m gonna give you every piece of info I have about the new
album:
Sweden Release: 6th April (14th maybe)
Rest of Europe Release: Maybe as scheduled- 4th of April
US release dates: May 5th.
Special version of the album is a fact, at least if you
trust my main man over at Sid's Music - he said there had been alot
of requests for the album, and the special version. |
/Petter Sundlöf [odd@hempseed.com]
Album late! Damn!!!
The damn album is delayed here

Video..., a portion
I heard(saw*) a bit of the 'Raise
Your Voice' video, (like 7 sec)
and it was a portion of the refrain
and to be honest I did not like it
that much, at least what I heard
of the refrain. There was a full-
length version showed but
unfortunately I missed it :(
Anyway, I‹ll wait til the album
gets out before I comment it
further.

'Finished this Friday' / Scandinavia Tour
I snapped up this from the BRML ;
>From: Roger Vulture
>Subject: News

>Bad Religion will be completely finished with the album this Friday!
SO, This means we can expect the loveley
new music of Bad Religion soon! YAH! If
you haven‹t heard it, it goes back to the
old Suffer/No Control Recording style,
which results in a wonderful sound. You
can scroll down a bit and find a news
clip of "In so many ways" from the new
album.
The other day I saw a short news clip
on ZTV (swedish loser pop channel) that
Bad Religion was coming to Sweden and
Denmark (?).. rather ultra cool, cuz
I‹ve never seen them live, so this
would be like the event of my life!
